aBOUT THE TASTE OF GREENWOOD VILLAGE

Since 2000, the Taste of Greenwood Village, hosted by the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce  has provided an introduction to wonderful food from restaurants in the southeast corridor area for the past decade.

This September 30th, the 10th anniversary celebration brings the event to the heart of Greenwood Village at The Madden Museum of Art and Palazzo Verdi at Fiddler's Green as an indoor and outdoor event. The John Madden Company headquartered in Greenwood Plaza, has received national attention for its innovative approach to master planning and development, and received many awards for mixing art, architecture and landscaping.  Palazzo Verdi provides the perfect setting for the 10th anniversary combining fabulous food and wine with a special evening of beautiful indoor and outdoor art accompanied by live music in the Museum, the Atrium, The Taste Above Italia and the tented area.

Three events and prices will be offered for attendees in 2010:

and our popular food and wine main event for the evening from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. As in previous years, the popular tradition continues of providing the all inclusive evening (food, wine, parking) to our 21 year and older patrons.

New for 2010 is the availability of light rail transportation, easily accessible to the east of the building at the Village Shops.  The parking structure at Palazzo Verdi  offers plenty of parking spaces at no charge for the expected 1800 attendees.

Whether you stroll through the outdoor Museum and outdoor tents providing our vintners and restaurants, or enjoy the sit down venue of the indoor Museum or The Taste Above Italia we invite you to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Taste of Greenwood Village!  Fabulous food, wine, music and the beauty of the season at beautiful Palazzo Verdi in Greenwood Village!

Great Food Paired with International Wines

For the 2010 anniversary celebration, Wine Source Of Colorado will present outstanding winemakers with their portfolios from 75 wineries representing the leading wine regions of the world.

Owners Gary and Aaron Steinke continue their tradition of providing a wide variety of boutique wines at the Taste of Greenwood Village:  "Wines we believe in, from people we believe in."  The event provides patrons both domestic and international boutique wines for tasting, as well as the opportunity to order their favorite selections during the evening for local delivery or pickup after the event.

Gary Steinke shares his passion for wine:

"I came to see the real heart of the industry was made up of people with a real love of wine (and food along with that) who were endlessly excited, curious and appreciative about the enjoyment of wine".

Son, Aaron Steinke also reflects the same love for the "grape":

"I feel very privileged to be able to meet people from all parts of the world - to learn of their cultures, and to sell the treasured wine and spirits that they themselves are so passionate about!"

Meet the international and domestic vintners and the Steinke's at the 2010 Taste of Greenwood Village as they support the city, the Chamber and The Beacon Center with a world class food and wine event!
